![]() Chor Bakr is a unique haunting necropolis and located 7 Miles west of Bukhara and was built in Shaybanid time in 16th century. Some local believe that it was built for Abu-Bakr the 1st Khalifa after Prophet Mohammad. Friday mosque and a khanaka are two of its major structures. All around the site are small mausolea, coutyard graves, and plain raised graves built later around the comlex. |
